Pupil Premium funding is being used to support and enhance a wide range of provision in many areas of the school, including:
Increasing staffing in core subjects (English, Maths and Science) to reduce class sizes at Key Stage 4 and provide more focussed support for vulnerable students.
Subsidising the participation in educational trips and visits of students who qualify for the Pupil Premium.
Subsidising the participation in a Year 11 residential study and life skills activity for students who qualify for the Pupil Premium.
Increasing the provision of Teaching Assistant hours to allow targeted intervention for vulnerable students.
Alternative educational provision with external providers for identified individual students.
Employing a part-time counsellor to support the emotional well-being and development of vulnerable students.
