Weekly Bulletin (10 July)

Welcome to your penultimate bulletin of the year!

Safeguarding Update

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-i7guPZdVSw&feature=youtu.be

The above video was produced Derbyshire Fire Service and shows some of the dangers that are attached to derelict buildings. These buildings can be particularly inviting for some young people as we head into the summer holidays and it’s important that students are aware of the dangers attached to this. Please take the time to watch the video with your child/children and discuss the potential dangers when they are out and about this summer. It should be noted that the video does contain some graphic content although the scenario uses actors to show its message.

Both the videos created by the Derbyshire Fire Service (cold water shock and derelict buildings) will be shown to students before we break up to highlight the dangers.

Police Investigation

We have been asked by the local police to share the link below, for help in assisting them with investigating an assault on a young girl.

Thank you to all who took part, helped and/or attended our Summer Fayre last week; it was a great success! Special thanks go to Mrs Price and Mrs Reeve who organised a large portion of the evening.
