The Long Eaton School aims to strengthen relationships between businesses in our local community, as well providing the opportunity to build links with our school.
As a school, we are aware that we are educating the ‘future workforce’ and working together with local businesses we want to ensure our young people have the right skills and attributes for the world of work. In partnership, local businesses can help our pupils with their post-16 career pathways by supporting our events such as Careers Fairs, Assemblies, Work Experience, and Mock Interview Days. Research has indicated that effective employer engagement raises pupils’ educational attainment, and they are less likely to end up NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) when they leave school.
All local businesses, no matter their experience or size, are most welcome to join our network.
If you feel you can support our Careers Programme no matter how small, please contact us using the details below.
